Are Rich Girl’s Luxury Extensions Virgin Remy?
  • Yes, the hair is in its natural state, unprocessed and free of all chemicals.
What does Virgin Remy mean?
  • The best quality of human hair is virgin Remy hair, sometimes called “cuticle” hair. When the hair is selected from the donor, the cuticle remains intact to protect from damage. Virgin hair is not chemically processed for color or texture. The hair uses a steamed process to achieve style of hair.
  • The Remy method ensures stability and longevity, by keeping all cuticles intact and not stripped. The process of collection uses a unidirectional aligned style, running from root to end. Additionally, this process ensures that the hair remains soft, shed- and tangle-free, with a natural state of appearance throughout its lifetime.
What is temple hair?
  • This is the best and healthiest hair to use for natural hair extensions, because it comes from single donors who’ve looked after it for the purpose of religious devotion. The hair is meticulously detangled, categorized, washed, dried and raw, without chemicals.
Is Indian the best origin of hair?
  • Yes, Indian is the most popular origin of hair desired. The strands are sleek and smooth with a soft sheen. Indian tresses create a more natural appearance and are able to hold a great curl. Indian hair is very strong in strands and comes straight, wavy or curly. Indian origin creates an amazing blending effect and great for fullness and volume.
Can I dye Rich Girl’s Luxury Extensions?
  • Yes, all Rich Girl’s Virgin Temple Remy Hair extension can be dyed, colored and bleached. Make sure to have your hair colored by a Licensed Cosmetologists, preferably a Color Specialist. If you are trying to lift to a lighter color, ensure that your Licensed Cosmetologists is not allowing the color to be left on too long, which can damage the cuticles and strands, stripping the smooth shine, protein, and moisture, ultimately causing dry and unruly strands. We advise that after coloring, rinse, shampoo, deep condition. Constantly lifting the color or allowing it to sit longer, is damaging to the extensions and your own natural hair.
How should I care for the hair?
  • The #1 thing to remember is that your extensions are 100% human hair. You must treat your extensions just as you would you natural hair.
Washing & Conditioning
  • Often times, extensions can soak up the natural oils from your head. Before washing, always brush through the hair evenly and gently. Make the hair free of any tangles. Whether washing hair at home, in the sink or in the shower, make sure the hair is being washed all in one direction to avoid tangling. Do not bunch hair up when lathering. Thoroughly pull the shampoo and conditioner through the hair, while gently massaging the scalp, and ensuring not to tangle the extensions.
  • After washing, use the desired amount of conditioner and thoroughly pull through the hair to get an even coat to avoid tangling. If possible, use a wide-toothed comb, & comb through the extensions. Once complete, rinse out. If using a leave-in conditioner, pull hair back as you squeeze the hair between your hands to rinse excess water. Spray the desired amount of conditioner and evenly comb thru the hair.
